Impulse iQ® is controlled by micro-computer circuitry housed within the device that produces a controlled force that chiropractors can use to treat different areas of the body. The state-of-the-art Impulse iQ Adjusting Instrument® has a high-tech sensor that provides information from your body’s response to chiropractic adjustments to a micro-computer inside to give the doctor feedback about your results.

The breakthrough technology of the Impulse iQ was developed by incorporating an accelerometer inside the nosepiece of the Impulse Adjusting Instrument. This accelerometer senses spinal motion signals during the adjustment and in real-time relays them back to a microprocessor controller computer chip inside the Impulse iQ device. Following the initial thrust of the Impulse iQ, subsequent thrusts are delivered at a speed determined to optimize spinal motion (Intelliadjust™ Technology) while simultaneously comparing each consecutive thrust to the preceding ones. Once maximum mobility is achieved, the Impulse iQ ceases firing (AutoSense™ technology) and produces an audible beep which lets both the doctor and the patient know that the adjustment is completed.
